What is teletherapy?
Teletherapy is the use of high-resolution video conferencing over a secure connection. It's very similar to video chats such as Skype or FaceTime. Other than communicating over video, our sessions will be the same as in-person visits.
How does it work?
In order to use teletherapy services, you will need a device with camera and internet access such as a smart phone or tablet.

Is it covered by insurance?
While each insurance plan is different, most carriers are covering teletherapy due to the Covid-19 crisis, at least for the next several weeks. Please reach out to your insurance carrier to make sure that it is a benefit for your specific policy.
What insurances do you accept?
I accept most of insurance plans offered in the state of Michigan including the ones listed below:
- Priority Health
- Aetna
- ASR
- Magellan
- Cofinity
- Value Options
- Blue Cross/Blue Shield
- Private pay is also welcome
What about privacy?
The same confidentiality standards of in-office visits also apply to teletherapy. We will be communicating through a secure, HIPAA-compliant app to ensure that your privacy is protected.
